Before leaving for a half or a full day ride, we teach you how to communicate with our beloved horses and how to handle them safely. Sharing a 'mate' tea or a tasty 'asado' barbecue with local meats is adding flavor to these unforgettable moments.

Entering the herd of horses in the round pen, learning about the taming process, about horse care, discovering gaucho equipment, the amazing working dogs, participate in ranch work as driving cattle between summer and winter fields, sleeping in a remote "puesto", making bread together...

GAUCHO CULTURE

For centuries, the gauchos have been taking care of cows and sheep in the most remote and wild areas, living for months in simple conditions, with their loyal horses and dogs as companionship.

No matter what the weather is, a gaucho wakes up early every day to set fire, have his first mate and prepare his meal, which will be slowly cooked while he is outside, taking care of the animals and premises.

They are solitary souls with millions of stories.

					Super fun day with Galope Austral  – We had such a great time with Galope Astral. Four of the five of us were beginners but wanted to try riding in beautiful Patagonia. The horses were very well… read more trained and well-loved. The 1/2 day experience takes about three hours, where you will be led through the countryside, through small creeks, and sections of forest. If you feel comfortable, there are places to gallop your horse which was super fun. We were also joined by a super cute, well trained ranch dog the whole way there and back. We were given a ton of videos and photos right after we finished too. We highly recommend this experience!

					Special and gratifying experience horse riding in the Patagonia  – The experience with Charlotte and Enrique is very authentic. The ride is very nice while one gets to see the open range of the Patagonia and not only just walk… read more on flat terrain, the horses go also through uneasy terrain uphill and dowhill, which makes the ride a bit more fun. Overall both the instructors help you gain confidence on the ride, particularly important for non experienced riders.It was very special and unique experience with the horses. Everything worked well from booking to its very end. Can recommend confidently, its money well spent. It will give a very nice touch to your trip while visiting the Chilean Patagonia.
