TAKE A RIDE ON THE WILD SIDE.
25 minutes from Puerto Natales, Chilean Patagonia, we will explore beautiful fields on horseback and discover local culture. Let’s bring the herd of horses in the corral, learn how to tame them, shoe and take care of them, learn about the local saddles and equipment, ride for hours, learn to drive the cattle in-between summer and winter camps, participate in the ranch works, sleep in a “puesto”, prepare your own bread or eat a delicious barbecue (asado).
There is always something to experience in the wilderness of Patagonia.
GAUCHO CULTURE
For centuries, the gauchos have been taking care of cows and sheep in the most remote and wild areas, living for months in simple conditions, with their loyal horses and dogs as companionship.
No matter what the weather is, the gaucho wakes up early every day to start the fire, take its first mate and prepare its meal which will be cooked slowly while they are outside, taking care of the animals and premises.
They are solitary souls with millions of stories.
The local gauchos will be protagonists of your journey with us.
